The truth is that your body either turns into ashes or else it turns into dirt after it rots.
Ouch thats a deep question. I don't think anyone really knows the true answer, many will say that heaven is the answer, while others will say you stop existing, its hard to say.
Well he will either be cremated or burried. If he is cremated his body will be burnt and then put in an urn. If he is burried then he will be placed in a coffin and burried into the ground to rott and decompose. Also a funeral takes place.
But if you mean spiritually, then each person has there own ideas, neither wrong or right.
When person dies the soul ( energy within ) leaves the body and takes rebirth.
The body melts away and the spirit becomes one with the universe. Back to the source.
Your brain decomposes and rots.
You go to Yahoo Heaven where all your questions will be answered.

But I think we move on to another life or another dimension.
I'm not sure of course but I'm convinced there is something and I don't mean a God waiting for us...
