Is there a difference in sadness and sorrow?Comments?

Answer:
yes. sadness is passing blues. sorrow is ingrained sadness over something that the human mind cannot comprehend, nor repair, such as the loss of a love/love.
Sorrow implies a sense of loss or a sense of guilt and remorse <a family united in sorrow upon the patriarch's death>
I think sorrow implies some sort of regret.
But these distinctions require of you contemplation and reflection.

Is not sadness ephemeral; and sorrow, a point more deep, widespread, conveying a greater import to our understanding?
Sadness is felt for every1 & sorrow is for personal painful moments.
