Is it possible for a "night person" to become a "morning person"? Is this simply?
Answer:
Yup, its a matter of circadian rhythms. Even though there are circadian-related sleep disorders, they can easily be treated.
The structure governing the circadian rhythms (suprachiasmatic nucleus) is very flexible and you don't generally get born with a specific rhythm. Its ever changing, and has been tested on humans and animals.
A researcher volunteered himself to spend 90 days i think in a cave with food and water monitored, to see the effects on circadian rhythms without light, time and environmental information. His rhythms became gradually inaccurate and lost many days.
There's very little genetic evidence on day or night people. Babies who have hard time sleeping at night when they are young have poor predictive relationship of turning into 'night people'.
I used to work nights but I am back on schedule for dayshift
i used to not be able to get out of bed before 11am and i would be up to the wee hours of the morning...preferred to only be up at night...did that for over 35 years...i couldn't function in the morning even when i had a job that started at 8:30am...i just couldnt get going...now without an alarm i wake before 4am and am best in the morning...i don't know how it happened...why it happened...it just did
