Effects on brain functioning?

If someone has very little formal education before the age of 18 what effects does it have on brain functioning later in life?

Answer:
i don't think the brain actually would function differently.
different people will respond differently. some will drink up education eagerly later if it is offered. more likely because of the lack of exposure to academic process (sitting in classrooms etc) it's difficult for people to adapt to academics. people without education are just as 'smart' they just know different things that might not be valued too much in school. im no researcher on this subject this is just my opinion
when he or she gets older ,he or she is not going to be matured
Well if they have very little education, it can hurt them in the future. As to brain functioning, it very might effect them. Cuz education and academics train the brain to difficult levels in their life. It helps develope the mind and help build their skills and abilities. 18 yr. olds are very smart but make dumb decisions in their teens, so not having the proper learning skills can hurt their future. For example, if they have a job that is very demanding and he or she might get stressed out, they wont be able to focus on their work.Another is that, if they want a career that need skills and has hardships to it and the 18 yr old has not had that education yet , and the result to that is not having a job that he or she enjoys.
