Multiple Personality Disorder?

Answer:
There is a game that goes on here on Y/A where certain people give each other "best answer" and also then they become "top contributor" as they have nothing to do all day but plug in to Y/A. Other people, with lives, who have to earn a living to eat, pay bills etc and/or go to school haven't got much of a chance to catch up with them. The whole thing is unrealistic.
it would mean you are jealous of this person and the only way you are going to get over this jealousy is to have a tummy tuck performed!
It's just out of all the questions they have answered so far, the author of the question gave that person the best answer 22% of the time. Ever 100 questions that person has answered, 22 would be rated as the best answer.
Some people just stick to certain categories where they are expert - and so get high best answer percentages. Perhaps they have multiple avatars and are awarding themselves points! But really, who cares? This is just for fun anyway!!

72% best answer.
As for me, I am the best answered in Anthropology, with only 11 best... Funny how it works here...
Not that the 22% bothers me...it's that you're right and there are 3 "people" always giving him best answer...they must be buddies or something.don't think MPD
ARTIFICIAL MEASURES MEAN LITTLE: Best answers. top contributor... and a high number points are artificial, arbitrary measures.
A few top contributors answer all questions with 2-5 word answers that are meaningless- thus they earn thousands of points. Similar scenarios of gaming occurs for best answers.
I typically answer only serious questions (>99% of the time) and avoid the chit chat, silly, meaningless (e.g., who'd win in a fight, Paris or Britney), shallow and insensitive (are feminists all bltches?) questions.
My advice... ignore the artificial comparisons, do your part, and enjoy yourself while hopefully truly contributing to others.
It means that there is a likely statistical significance to the process behind the Yahoo Community, as many of the people that you add as contacts will respond to your questions, and vice-versa.
And if you are really thinking that a user has "multiple personality disorder", maybe you should investigate the user histories and timelines first.
I only pick the bast answer to my question. I do not profile my answers! Whoever get the best answer, I choose. MAYBE YOUR JUST TRYING TO INFLUENCE SOMEONE. I am sorry for the capital letters. Meant to catch your attention. Sounds like you need to put more of yourself to your answers. I vote for the best answer that I have gotten. I put myself into everything I answer. You really need a open mind to respond to these questions. One liners are not going to get you a prize. Think about it you know I am right, answer from your heart, might win best answer!
