Why is life so hard when u become an adult?

being an adult sucks....cuz you gotta pay bills, work, and get the police called on you for shaving/dying the neighbors cat. Even though evryone knows the cat looks way cooloer now.
Because your parents were always the "adult" before. Life is hard, but you need to learn to deal with it.

Because no one else is providing for you anymore. You have to provide for yourself... and that takes a lot of time, effort, and coping skills to do so.
Life is challenging, not hard! Come on sweetie, it is what you make of it! Sure, sometimes making decisions or trying to budget isn't easy, but with practice, you will be surprised how wonderful it can be!
because you're gonna carrying a lot of responsibilities..
because you can only truly depend on yourself now..you're out of the nest.
Because you have to work everyday without taking a vacation. And your body starts to fail. And a shell of numbness forms around you that is only punctured when you drink or have sex.

But the main reason is more responsibilities, to put it simply. And you no longer have someone to completely provide for you.
Even so, you have the wrong attitude. You are calling life hard, so what do you think life will be for you? How do you look at it? Well, it's hard for you; only because you said so. Life could be great for me, or that guy walking down the street, even if he is homeless.
Life is what you make it. I'm sorry to be blunt, but stop complaining about it, and start making it better.

Because before someone was there to make sure you didn't screw up your life/future *that* badly... all of a sudden, you're free to make a total wreck of your life/yourself with no 'safety net' to catch you... just repeated mistakes that you try to learn from. ;0)
It's only hard if you let it be. You need to learn how to relax...and don't take life so seriously. After all, you'll never get out of it alive anyway.
Life has always been hard, your parents have just been shielding you for your whole life is all. Buy them something nice.
When you become an adult, your world expands far more than your youthful self could imagine. Your exposed to the rest of the world woes and learn that competition in life doen't mean getting a good grade but earning every cent you need.
Getting older is not for the faint of heart!
yes indeed, everything changes, the way people look at u and treat u is different, u suddenly find yourself alone, it's really difficult at the beginning, but then you're gonna have to get used to it, and accept the idea that you lost some advantages that u used to have when you were a child, and you have to learn how to live in this world..
