If you're left-handed..do you have a funny story about being a lefty?

I was in the library one time, writing at the card catalog file. I'm a backhanded lefty and I 'sensed' I was being watched. I looked up and this little boy about 6 years old was staring at me with wide eyes, like he was seeing something unbelievable. He said, in a very loud voice, "How can you write like that??" I had to laugh.

Answer:
I remember an art teacher I had who took great delight in telling everyone how clumsy I was, and how I couldn't be expected to carry out the most basic assignments such as cutting out a circle for the school wall project etc etc. I really dreaded his lessons because the humiliation was never ending.
One day my grandad came into school with me and handed the art teacher a pair of left handed scissors and a piece of paper and asked him to use them to cut out a perfect circle. Of course he was used to the right handed scissors I'd been struggling with and he couldn't get the hang of the left handed pair at all.
He never made a single comment in class about my inabilities again
theres nothing funny about being left handed.
i heard that rightys live 5 years longer than leftys.history techer told me that.
When I was in grade 1 and the only left handed person in my class we were painting and I found it difficult to paint like all the other kids. So I used my left hand to paint with my big ol' pony-in-the-field-wooly-90's sweater. At the end of my painting session I noticed my whole left arm was covered in paint... just for being a lefty...
Well, I'm not a lefty, but my brother and best friend are, and they both said that there is always a present at the end of anything a lefty does, I asked them what it was, and they said "goobers." I was like "what?" And then my brother showed me his hand and there was silver all along the side of his palm from writing with his pencil! It was really funny.
lefty are smarter in math or something. also there good in bed
i don't know if its funny but whenever i am asked to affix my signature...like some bank transactions or documents...and when i start turning the paper upside down... they usually react with surprise & start pointing/correcting the right place to affix it (since when i write its either i turn the paper upside down or side ways). Initially they thought i am signing in the wrong place. I always have to retort "i know".. and they just smile & in awe while am writing/ signing.
