Why are people born with different status in life?

Not all are born with a silver spoon in their mouths.
because if we all had the same status life would be boring
to add variety to the world...to see and appreciate life as it is...
In Islam, God states in the Qur'an that it is because he tests us with what he has given. And whether we are thankful for the faculties and blessings he has given - even sight, hearing, ability to walk, etc.
So if you're a king, it is He who has given you this authority to test you how you will behave - whether you will be charitable, a just ruler, etc. He already knows all, the test is for our purpose and to show us clearly all that we did while we lived.
If you don't believe in God, then the best answer I can give is that given by a scholar named Dr Bilal Philips: -
"it's my good luck, and his bad luck".
What is luck however? It's another name for fortune - which originates from the Roman Greek God, Fortuna.
People are born with different status due to the hierarchy it is normal for humans to have a hierarchy as most of the animal kingdom does, it allows us to see who controls the property and who is the workers
It's a natural fact that a life is a struggle. God creates mankind in basically three classes. Upper, Middle and Lower. Upper for giving justice, peace, help and financial support to middle class or very lower / poor class to check ability of their humanity. Like wise middle class is also created for making struggle and to achieve the upper status of lives. Anyway, all the three status are an examination. Every class / status has its own responsibilities fixed by God. We should pray and try honestly to fulfill our responsibilities / duties in every class / status of life, whatever is rewarded us by Great God
