Does your life really flash before you before you die?

I think so.

Answer:
I guess there'll be no one to really confirm this because they're all dead.
who would know the answer to that? i doubt it though.
Um...and how are we supposed to know? I don't think there are any dead people posting on FunQA.com.
You'll be the first to know after I die. I probably won't have the time to contact you before it happens.
This has been reported in near death experiences.
I know a way you could answer that question. :-)
Well, I was clinically dead for a short period of time when I was younger. I remember an OBE but no flashing before my eyes.
I don't know. No one came from the grave to tell me whether it's true or not.
Actually It is posible. When Humans get extreme fear it triggers a chemical in the the brain that makes you remeber. It would not be your whole life just small memories!
I dont think the entire life, maybe some important things, like marrage, or the birth of your child. When I was younger my heart stopped several times. All I remeber was when I woke up it seemed quiet to what ever was going on in my head.
NOT SURE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL IT HAPPENS
I wouldn't know, but I DO know time seems to slow down for you. It's some weird spot in the brain that freaks out in an emergency, so you could theroretically have the time to think a lot in a short period of time.

I once had time seem to slow down when I dropped a bowl of squished Jell-O. It was great. I watched the little bowl hit the carpet at an angle and all the tiny jewels of red Jell-O sloshed to one side and flung out all over somebody.
yes, mine flashed before I lost my life!
only seen it in the movies. I doubt anyone really knows unless they came close to the light.
You will find out once you die...until then you will have to live with this unanswerable question. When you do die, be sure to come back and tell us if you saw any life flashing before your eyes.
I've never died that I know of so I'm going to have to digress.
i know of some people that have almost died ands have had flashbacks, but i dont think everyone does
Yeah, this is the effect of the ketamin neurotransmitter that is release in our brain before dying. It is also sold as a rave drug called Special K. It even generate some out of the body experience, and is quite dangerous if pure, as some never return from their body dissociation...
If you think so than follow this quote:

"They say when you die your whole life flashes before your eyes..make yours worth watching."

One of my favorite quotes.

AS a former Hospice nurse I have been with many people when they die. Sometimes during the dying process many review their lives, talk or think about those times and people who were most important to them. At the end they are often not aware of their surroundings, die in their sleep or following a days long period of rapid decline-usually talking very little-but they can hear- so their loved ones can still say thank you, I love you, etc- and give them permission to go when they are ready.
Don't know.. I'm still alive
difficult answer...

there could be some belief in it... depending..

on the brain it may trigger a chemical as it shuts down to die,.

a scientist may know
you need to go to a higher level to get a factual answer. in
