Does facing ones fears really cure them??
Answer:
I have been flying on planes since I was 11, and every time it gets worse and worse. I've flown from Detroit to Arizona and back, from Las Vegas to Detroit and back, from Detroit to Florida and back, and even flew from Detroit to London and back. My most recent trip was from Detroit to Las Vegas, and it was the worse one yet. If you are taking a flight through any bad weather or over any mountains, be prepared, there WILL BE turbulence. I swear it felt as if we were going to fall right out of the sky. I never used to be afraid of flying, and each time I get on a plane it is worse than the last. I recommend taking Xanex, Dramamine and/or Vicodine before you fly. It will take the edge off and help you to relax. Good luck, you may enjoy it!
Dude, you should do that. Its not really a big deal. Try parachuting first . Good Luck!
I was scared of height, but when i went to tall buildings rooftops and to my house roof. It cured me, i had no fear again.
It can help but it is no cure. Discuss it with anyone that will listen as often as you can since you only have a week to prepare yourself. Good luck conquering your fear!
NO, I dont think facing your fears cures you, it only gives you the courage to face it again.
The more you think about it the more you realize
Facing your fears makes you realize something,
What do you realize?
That's up to you.
Typically, people fear things they do not understand or that they perceive as out of their control. Facing things tends to give people the understanding needed to conquer that fear.
