What Disorders? Anger, Emptiness/Numbness, Plus.?
I was wondering if ya'll could please tell me if these are symptomatic of any psychological disorders. Please name any & all of the disorders that list these symptoms. If these are not enough symptoms, please mention the disorder anyway, because I am only listing SOME of the symptoms this person has.
1. Feeling emotionally numb or/& blunted (dulled emotions) at times, even over some larger events, but may cry over a commercial or something small.
2. Has anger issues- inappropriate or misplaced anger, or anger that is more than is reasonable for the situation. Irritable. Not physically abusive, but sometimes verbally so. May switch feelings during bouts of anger, though.
3. Identifies with monsters or evil, but seems capable of love, is nonviolent, etc., so wouldn't traditionally be called evil.
4. Insecure about the affections of partners. Feels their love isn't genuine or that they'll leave them for some reason. Feels unloveable. Fears friends are tiring/will tire of them.
Answer:
Sound like BPD or borderline personality disorder. But other things need to be rule out before making this diagnosis.
