How is it possable to truley allow ones "Inner-Being" to show if always stoped - when just so close to showinging its-self? How many times has this e-break grabebed a hold of you? Are you not able to continune with your motion? 3. People do let their "inner" self take over... that's why there are serial killers, rapists, murderers, child molesters, etc etc... Some things are acceptable by society and others not. Sex for example (or lust) controls people, but for most that´s okay. Food... how many fat people are there? Free thought, self control, that´s the only thing that seperates us from animals. Knowing right from wrong, making good choices (not the most pleasurable, but the ones that are good for society or for ourselves in the long run) that´s what makes us human. Many times you can either go the easy way or the right way. That´s up to each individual to decide... based upon their morals and their ability to control themselves and their wisdom. Anybody can be many versions of themselves. your true self is the one that you choose to be.
