depends on your options. if you are old enough you could go for a drive. you could make up a story. you could clean, dance, listen to music, go outside, play with a pet, or call someone.
Oh get in touch with your musical side. I get bored out of my mind sometimes, and I feel its best to play some music. That's only because I'm that kind of person and music and writing poetry and songs interests me. If not to you.. then find something you like doing. I hate reading books as well haha. Try.. well watching a movie or rent out a season of a show PRISONBREAK, THE OC haha some of my favorites. It will give you something to do, if they interest you. Trust me, finding a good show is amazing it gets you hooked like cocaine. Hahaha you become an addict and need more and well you start to lose your life =P

Go to the local hospital and volunteer. You can do the same at the local library, homeless mission, retirement home, women's shelter, YMCA, youth clubs, animal shelter, churches. The list is endless. If you are bored it is because you are selfish and thinking only of yourself. There are a lot of hurting people in this world that need your help right now. Some of these organizations may have age restrictions for volunteers, but my point is this; you can find someone who needs your help and you can help. Go help someone NOW.
A lot of my childhood memories consist of times of just hoping on the ole' bicycle and seeing where the road leads me. Pack a lunch, head for some nature trails, grab a fishin pole or take the dogs to the nearest dog park for a run. If you don't own dogs of your own, speak to an elderly neighbour that cannot take theirs out as much. I'm not sure of how old you are but you could volunteer at the local nursing home or babysit some of the kids in your area, there's good money to be made in babysitting. I picked up an extra job delivering pizza and I love it. I can't stand to sit around and do nothing. Playstation 2, if you have one can provide some temporary entertainment, but still its summer time. Get out to the nearest beach or swimming pool meet some new friends or reaquaint with old ones. Look for fix up projects around the house. Paint your room or move furniture around. Giving yourself a project to complete gives you something to focus this extra energy on and when you complete your task, you will feel proud of the new look or whatever the case may be. Dance naked in front of your pets. Send Christmas cards to everyone you know saying you are either late from last year or just early this year. Climb a tree. Look on FunQA.com for other questions to answer to take up some more time. Wash cars in your neighbourhood. Cook dinner for everyone in your house and challenge yourself, no kraft dinner or hot dogs. Dress up your baby brother or sister with their clothes on backwards and see who notices first. Act like it was the next "in thing" and say "But all the kids are doing it!!" Get a large map of wherever you live and use colour co-ordinated push pins to map out where you've been on vacation and where you're going next time. If your driving, why not map out a new route with more scenery? Visit some flea markets or antiques shops. run a lemonade stand, have a garage sale, flick your boogers at the cat to see if he'll swat at them. re-read my answer to find all the ones I was joking about. Most of all; Have fun doing it!!
paint your toenails
I really do not see you as being 'bored to death'. It seems more like you are convinced that what you are telling yourself must be true. Why do you believe that you are bored? It is because that is what you tell yourself in the conversation that you are having with yourself. It really is obvious, isn't it? You know that this is what you think about your situation, but why do you believe every word that you say? If I am correct, and you said that you were not bored, you wouldn't be. Am I correct? That is the power of our own thought processes, and you are using your mind against yourself.
Try just watching yourself think without being judge-mental or critical. You will see that that which is watching is separate from the conversation that you are having with yourself. You are not your thoughts! The thoughts you are thinking are just a noise in your head that no-one else can hear. What we call life is not just about thinking. Pay attention to your senses without talking to yourself. See, feel, taste, hear, and smell the universe. You will soon find that nothing that is real can become a word. Words are just symbols. Don't beat yourself up with them.
Peace!
