Why can't I think? thought blocking?

I've had this problem for years, it's hard to explain. It's like I have no train of thought or no creative thought at all. It's very difficult to respond to people and come up with my own stuff. Even when I'm alone I find myself thinking the same things over and over. I feel kinda brain dead. It's really impossible for me to come up with my own opinions or argue because I don't seem to have an opinion about anything.

Answer:
..I hear you that you believe you're "brain dead" or somehow cognitively disabled. But believing this will contribute to your inability to think well. It's like saying, "I can't," which of course will prevent you from trying.

Under the pressure of the moment, it's hard for anyone to think well. I recommend the following - try doing your best thinking in private for the foreseeable future. For example, pick up a newspaper or magazine and read an article and just ask yourself what you think about it.

For example, Tiger Woods is 7 strokes behind at the British Open...what could be the cause? Hmmm...is it because his wife gave birth a couple weeks ago and he's distracted thinking about her and the baby? Who knows? But it's a thought!

Nobody knows anything for sure, did you know that? But we have our thoughts. And you will have yours.
