I cant get a dream out of my head?

A few days ago i had a dream i was dating a celebrity my age, i dont really remember the dream but i know we were dating. I cant stop thinking about the dream and the girl, it makes me feel like crap i guess because it will not ever happen. How can i forget about it?

Answer:
Interesting. Find out more about this celebrity you dreamed about. Usually when people dream about someone famous it's because the dreamer is comparing their own accomplishments, failures, personalities, skills, talents, qualities, and faults. Really think about this person and try and focus on what about him/her makes you the most upset? It's more than just thinking you'll never be able to go out with this person. It's something deeper. Did s/he recently accomplish something you never did? Did s/he recently break up with someone that reminds you of a lost love? Really focus on this person's character and see if you can find a true match. Then BELIEVE that you can repair it (because you can).
You dont have to forget about it. To first understand this, you must understand the nature of dreams themselves. This is not as lofty a goal as it was once thought to be. I would recommend learning about dreams and in particular lucid dreaming. Do a search on the Lucidity Institute as well as lucid dreaming. The resolve you seek lies not in forgetting the dream, but understanding why the dream meant so much to you and why it is so important you cannot forget about it.
Seek and ye shall find...
you dont need to forget-- just remember- it was only a dream-fantasy.xx
