What would you tell someone if you knew that they are going to commit a crime? HELP ME PLEASE!?

I would ask them if they are really ready for the consequences of being caught. Not just the devestation to friends and family, loss of freedom, permanent mark on their name but also the intimate romantic encounter the 6'5" 20 year weight lifting lifer has in store for him when he enters the prison system.

I would tell them that commiting a crime is wrong and that you are going to warn the authorities. Then I would tell the police and someone else you trust who can be there for you. You do not want to be an assesory to a crime. Even if you like this person, what they are going to do is wrong and needs to be stopped. You will be doing the hard thing, but the right thing.
What crime would help out a lot? If you know someone is going to commit a crime, you really need to turn them in. They could cause harm to themselves or someone else, & that would effect other peoples lives (like family) as well. Do you want that riding on your consious that you maybe could have helped prevent something bad from happing if something bad does happen? Try to talk your friend out of it, but if you think they're going to do it, they need some kind of help, & turning them in is the only way they're going to get help, & this crime is going to be stopped.
I wouldn't tell them anything. It is their life not mine. If they want to throw their life down the toilet then they can go right ahead. Unless of course they told me they were going to hurt a woman or child and then I would simply snap them in half.
You don't want to be involved and by them telling you it makes you involved !! I would tell them this because I don't want to go to jail !! I would tell them that too !! Tell them you will have no chose but to tell somebody if they go through with it!You obviously care about this person so tell them to do the smart thing and forget about it ,it's not worth it!!
IN HAVING DIRECT KNOWLEDGE THAT A CRIME WILL BE COMMITTED, AND NOT REPORTING IT TO THE POLICE MAKES YOU ACCESSORY TO THE FACT. THIS CAN LAND YOU IN JAIL!
