How do you remain unemotional in a serious drastic emergency ?

or , how did you do it ? because i , hand on heart , have a panic attack inside everytime , but show a cool calm controll and try to show everyone that everything is o.k !

Who said that you have to be unemotional?? As long as you can remain calm and do what has to be done. I never freak in an emergency because as a mother I have learned to take charge of the situation. Later on I have a serious melt down. I know that I'm the one who has to do what ever needs to be done and you do it. You don't want some one to die because you didn't' react to the situation.
Many times I was the only one who could do anything to help as a drastic emergency suddenly unfolded. Last time I had to save a man in cardiac arrest, it left me pretty shook up. But I have a lot of training in what to do and just go on auto pilot.
I am also a musician and had panic attacks at first. I was always the guy front and center belting it out. Finally realized I couldn't even see the roaring crowd for all the stage lights, and I was there to do my job. So that's it, I just do my job.
You keep controll of the situation instead of letting someone else take controll. you act like theres nothing wrong, like youve seen it a thousand times while you calmly try to resolve it (or leave). if you stay calm, often nobody knows there is a problem and they stay calm giving you time to act. in virtually any situation in life, if you stay calm, you have controll and appear collected. how can you panic then?
It's all about focus. Many people lack the ability to focus and just get freaked.
you are emotionally panicking inside but i think someone have to be brave and strong to hide ones emotion in situations like this. taking a deep breath and assuming a calm demeanor is hard in emergencies but a person who cares and mature can overcome this.

being unselfish also helps for you will be thinking of the people who needs your help than your own self.
Don't worry about the situation.
Everything has a solution or else we wouldn't be where were at.
To fly such as a plane we had to master the knowledge of "physics" and that was a solution.
So if something happens that is so drastic just remember there is a solution. Just look around and be observant. Take action, be calm, tell your mind that nothing bad has happened and believe in it.
Then you won't have a panic attack
