From some one you love would you prefer indifference or hate ?

why ?

Answer:
Hate. At least they feel strongly enough to have a very powerful emotion towards me. Hate can be negotiated sometimes into something more along the lines of friendship.
Indifference shows total lack of caring.
indifference is the biggest kick in the gut!
At least hate is an emotion!
Cheers for a great question though.
Hate. You can't argue with indifference. Hate is the closest to love.
Indifference, because that's the easiest to deal with.
neither, if someone really loved me they wouldn't treat me that way by either not caring about me or hating me if they knew what happened.
I guess I would have to say indifference, though I couldn't live with that very well. Open hostility, or hate, would be even more painful.
indifference...hate to me means that you wish death upon that person. i've only hated two people my entire life(im 24) im only down to hating one now :)

i would prefer indifference because if i hate the person, i still have a relationship with him/her yet if i am indiffernet to him/her, there is absolutely no connection between us
hate,if you have indifferences you try to work on them and keep coming back to square one, with hate hopefully they stay gone and peace is resumed and time heals xxx
Neither actually, both are unacceptable.

Instead, I would find someone else to love
I would prefer hate. Hate is still an emotion which means they still feel at least something for me. Indifference means they don't even care enough to spend the energy hating me.
True love often grows out of hatred :-p
'Hate,' at least you have something to focus on and work with, there is 'an energy' = there is 'Life.' Whereas with 'indifference' - which is the OPPOSITE to 'Love' - you have nothing ...indifference is like that, a vacuum = 'Nothing.'

Sash.
They say, "Love is akin to hate", but only because they are both strong emotions. To "hate" a person means that you have strong feelings about them, even if they're not pleasant at the time. Whereas, to be "indifferent" means, you couldn't care a less about a person!
So, if you're talking about a close relationship, the worst scenario would be "indifference", because it would mean that there's no emotional involvement and, therefore, no emotional partnership/relationship.
I prefere indifference !! At least hate is an emotion!

I broke a relation of love 20 years and I became indifferent to the different one.

Big Hug to you )) °(O¨_¨0)°
