How do couples who meet on line build chemistry with each other after they meet? I have developed a?
relationship with some who I have had 5% contact with and 95% online contact with...when we met we didn't feel the same chemistry as we felt talking to each other online....any ideas?
Answer:
It's much easier to feel chemistry online, because you fill in the blanks of the other person with what you like rather than what may be real, you turn them into a fantasy figure of sorts. At the same time, it's much easier to put your best and most confident face forward online, to become what you would like to be. You can get your answers "just right" before you send them. It's also easier to get deep very fast, because you feel more free to reveal what you ordinarily wouldn't to people face to face. You need to realize that meeting in person almost has to be handled like meeting a blind date that you have some knowledge of. Don't expect the instant "true love" feeling you may have been hoping for. If you want more chemistry in real life, I think the only answer is spending more real life time together to get comfortable with opening up as you would when you are online. Once your expectations have changed, and you both loosen up, you may find you two have a great time together. If the chemistry just never happens, even after spending a lot of time together, sadly, you may need to keep the relationship in the online realm and accept it for what it is. Good luck!
i met someone on line and when we finally met in person...5 months later...immediately the chemistry was there and has never faded...it is either there or not...sorry
