Why does imagination fill in the gaps?
Make up a question and place it. Unless you explain the situation - a lot of people asume that this is about you. So they don't answer, but give advice because they asume this or that.

we fill in the gaps with our own life's experience...
if we see an answer it's because we relate the the question some how... had you not chosen to fill in the gaps.. my original response to your question would have been...
Society is founded on a whole lot of religious BS, and if we wanted to get to the truth of the matter we would have to imagine it... cause they sure don't let it fly freely enough for us to experience it...
so the moral of the question is if you want an accurate answer... fill in a few gaps of your own.
because people with a heart feel a need to help so they put in what they think would help the person in need
