Is PSYCHOLOGY, an ART form, or SCIENCE?

Answer:
NICE QUESTION...It all depends on the person who is using the PSYCHOLOGY. They may be ARTISTIC by nature, then use it SCIENTIFICALLY. Or just some prat who studied at university with their thumb up there ****.
Bit of both, I reckon, an Artience, if you like.
to practically use it... it is an absolute art. or should I say, the one who uses it correctly is an artist ;-))
spelling mistake
I'd say science. I don't get how it's an art form.
It's considered a science because it has to do with studying the brain.
Psychology is both art and science, two linking into each others spectrums.. both having a vision of exploring the enviroment.
The nature of artistic achievement is inaccessible to us psychoanalytically" an alternative theory of the aesthetic appreciation of art and nature as well as artistic creation is presented, drawing on ideas from Reichian bioenergetics, existential psychology..
well the 'ology' part of the word suggests its a science, however psychology has many approaches to it, some scientific e.g. cognitive some are just based on theories e.g. psycodynamic (sigmund freud). You can do Bsc or BA in Psychology at uni, depending on which you do depends how scientific it is. Some people need science to believe some dont.
Both. If your talking about being a psychologist. There is an art to bringing out certain things in people but there is also a science in how most people react to different stimuli.
Research psychology is a science, its application is an art.
I think its an art form, but many consider it a 'soft' science
science...kinda like medical science
GREAT QUESTION...I think it depends on the individual, applying the psychology.
