i used to think people at 30 were old, but being that i'll be 30 in 2 months, i think 50 is now old. So, 20 yrs older is old ;)

I don't think I ever will. I am 46 and my body aches more than it did when I was twenty and I go to sleel earlier, but in my mind I am still 17.

I would think by 45+ your defo middle age and not young but i wouldn't really consider old untill you had a walking stick and stuff so maybe 65+ it all depends on how old the person acts really

I think being old is a state of mind, I am relatively mature, ie probably old enough to be your mother, but I still behave and think of myself as if I am in my twenties. Fortunately for my daughter's sake I don't dress as if I am in my twenties. How embarassing would that be? I think my generation is pushing the boundary of age further back, 40 is the new 30, 50 is the new 40 etcetera.

When life gives you wobbly knees and a walking stick, your hair is grey and you don't care what people think any more. but not only that. when you find your relatives coming round and you ain't seen em for the past 30 years. laugh.
When my mum was 70 she told me she didn't feel her age, she still felt like a woman of 30. She was quite active but we lost her when she turned 79.
When I turn 80 I will be old and I will announce it loud and clear. I am 40 now and loving every minute of living. aaaaaaaaaaaah life is good !!
