Memories ?

how would describe memories, happy ones and how they make you feel ??
and what kinda things make you remember by??...... daughter gotta write about them for her art project and not sure how to describe it
thanks

Answer:
Smells can bring about memories, like the smell of play dough takes me back to play school and reminds me of moulding all sorts when i was about three, even though I'm sixteen now! And that's a nice memory as it was such a carefree time with no worries. And the smell of hay reminds me of my old pony. memories are things that stay with you always, and take you through life making you the person you are now.
Glad i'm not at school,
I would describe my memories as short edited stories which i file away untill i need cheering up.
Not very poetic but that hurt my brain, its gettin a little dusty.
Happy memories provide the light that we can embrace so that we need not continually fight the darkness.

Your daughter could draw a picture representing a juxtaposition of light and dark with a happy figure frolicking in the lit area.

Or, some variation to that theme.
Funny how happy memories have a wistfulness that can be sad while it makes you smile. All things pass, like water under a bridge. Perhaps she could paint a river with happy memories reflected in the surface - memories are reflections, after all.
