Chasing Impossible Goals?
Answer:
It all depends on what your goal is. If, for example, your goal is to learn how to transform yourself into a dishwasher and back, then no, there is no point chasing that dream. But if you wanted, say, to become the world's greatest veterinary surgeon even though you had no qualifications, then I say sure, go for it. It may sound impossible, but you'd be surprised what we can achieve if we put our minds to it. Pretty much anything can be accomplished if we want it hard enough. (Within reason of course)
'If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.'
there always is you'll soon find out
it sounds like you are already defeated its only unobtainable if you decide that it is...stop being so against what could possibly happen for you...go for the gold so to speak..I bet they never thought they would nevery reach their dreams either... you only wont make it if you keep thinking like this!
Not if you KNOW it will never happen. Like, I don't see the point in standing outside and flapping my arms for the rest of my life hoping to fly. It just won't happen.
I can only give you this answer from a perfectionist point of view. Yes, there is a point because I would much rather reach for the sky and be the best at something than a lower goal. But that's just me.
Theres nothing bad about chasing your goals, theres always a way to do something if you really want it! I believe that i can be a surgeon some day and i will.
You mean like getting a date w/a hot NHl player? lol jk
To some extent it's ok, but when it's beyond your scope of reality, I'd say change your dream. It can also be harmful..ie look at Capt Ahab of Moby Dick.
