The happiest day of my life was in the middle of sixth grade.
On the day my teacher was retiring, at 59.
We'd been at each other's throats since the first week of school, and she'd even told me that if I weren't so damn difficult, she would've had the strength to finish the school year.
Anyways, I was glad she was leaving, letting me be.
At the Goodbye assembly, I was practically grinning.
After, we returned to class, and she took the 2 hours left of school to say goodbye to every student individually.
She still hadn't said goodbye to me when the bell rang, and I didn't care. I turned to leave.
Then someone hugged me from behind.
My teacher.
It was so strange to me, 'why is she doing this?'
But it felt peaceful.
Calm.
It made me feel like crying.
We still keep in touch.
One day, as I was doing homework my sister's parakeet, Petey, fell from his perch dead. I had to bury him in the woods and then tell her Petey died when she came home from school. That made me sad.
i have a sad story. When i was in 6th grade a friend of mine killed himself because he was getting abused at school and home we were best friends and it was only us so when he died i got depressed and wanted to die but every single time i would try it would rain and i only told him of how much i loved rain so i just kept thinking he was trying to make me happy because of the rain so i would stop and cry. that was 4 years ago and it still rains whenever im sad
Happy when I received my doctorate
Sad when my ex passed away
Guilty when I cheated on an exam in 7Th grade
Regret letting my mother move so far away from me then become ill.
Angry when my sister let her daughter become a dancer at an illegal age.
Irritated to see so many young people using pharmaceutical drugs.
Surprised when I won the Jackpot at my favorite casino.
