Have you ever done something you regret? If you could go back in time, would you change what you did, and why?

yes, a lot of times, if not so many. but even if i could say i would have done better .i would'nt want to change anything in the poast if given the chance to do so. everything that is past is a contribution to what i am today no matter how hard thoings may have been during the yesteryears. i may not be the best, but i can be proud of what i am now, how i tackle things and how i face the world.
Yes, got married at a young age, if I could go back in time, I would change that fact, because a lot of people got hurt in the process and it has changed me, sometimes for the worst.
i would LISTEN to my parents and not buy that second hand car and just survive on the bus for another year, till i saved up enough to buy a quality car. now, the engine's broken down after 2 months and i have to pay $2500 for a new one. I would go back in time and NOT BUY THAT CAR ! ! !
i think you learn from everything but some things you honestly just don't. i started dating this guy and nothing came good from it. he was just awful and i didn't really learn anything because he just did things to me that other people have. i really liked him and he had no interest in me what so ever. i passed up so many other guys for him and it was really just a huge waste of my time. i wish i could go back and never started hooking up with him. we were friends for two years before we started our little thing and it basically ruined our friendship because i can't look at him as my friend after all the crap he did.

these things brought me to where i am now...

if i committed no mistakes, there would be no learning..
besides the wort part of my mistakes are the memories..
going back to past and changing things would not take those images away...

Oh yeah, and I killed my parents.
when i've done something wrong, i often immediately end up wishing that i haven't done it...but after i get over my mistakes, i certainly do not regret doing those wrong deeds coz yes, you will really learn a lot from it and you wouldn't be where you are now and you wouldn't have those wonderful people, opportunities and even those little things that makes you smile right at this moment if you haven't done those stupid things in the past...so for your question, i do not regret every single thing that i have done in the past, coz even if im not that happy right now, im still thankful for it shaped who i am and my life...hope ul feel the same way...
I suppose we would all like to think that life is a learning process and there are no regrets, just lessons. To me, a life lesson is something that you are taught at the expense of yourself. While in some ways I regret jumping out of my window into the bush below because I sprained my ankle, I think it was a good lesson in thinking things through before taking action. The only regrets I have are when somebody other than myself got hurt either physically or emotionally.
One of my regrets
deciding I didn't want my computer after I got it for Christmas one year. It was 9 years before another came. The original one didn't do what I wanted. I cried.
Not helping to get a professional hockey team here in 1983
I didn't want something that would have posed a threat to me.
The person who wanted to get the NHL team here died.
I let my mother convince me to go to college and study what she wanted me to, instead of going to a beauty school and get to be a hairdresser like I wanted. I hated my carrier, I still do, and I don't have the financial means nor the time to go to night school and study anything else,..it sucks!
Yeah this is true we all do things and those are called making mistakes, we can't go back so we have to move on and go forward and try not to make the same mistakes again, why do you think the first thing you get in school is an eraser
