How do you feel when you are misunderstood? is it..?

annoyance ? dismay?
Do you let it go? or do you feel irritated?
or do you hang on to convince that person ?
What do you usually do?

Answer:
I usually tell them directly that I believe that they are misinterpreting what I am saying, and then I let it go.

And, I usually have a neutral response to their retort, if they have one.
If I know someone has misunderstood something I said, I will make it known/right, correct the error.
